Job Summary
As a Lawn Operations Leader, you will diagnose turf conditions, apply customized treatments to control pests, provide seeding and aeration services, and educate clients about lawn care. The role requires operation of specialized equipment, training lawn employees, and assisting the Operations Manager. Ideal candidates should have a degree in a related field, hands-on lawn care experience, and strong communication skills. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds and working outdoors.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to operate lawn care equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting in all weather conditions
- Valid Pesticide Applicator’s License—or the ability to obtain one
- Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.
- Valid driver’s license
Desired Qualifications
- A degree in Turf, Entomology, Plant Sciences, Horticulture, or equivalent experience (preferred)
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in lawn care maintenance and turf application
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills
