Job Summary
Lawn Specialist Trainer and Crew Leader responsible for high-quality landscape maintenance training of new employees, coaching and mentoring on ABC standards, evaluating trainee progress, and directing workflow on a designated training route. Lead on-site crew activities, train in safety PPE and equipment use, monitor time on equipment, ensure mowing/edging/trimming/blowing quality, uphold the Quality Counts Program, communicate daily progress to Service Managers, and ensure new employees meet ABC standards before joining production crews. Requires 5+ years lawn maintenance experience, valid driver’s license (5+ years), bilingual English/Spanish, and strong leadership/communication skills. Schedule is 40 hours/week; compensation up to $65K with benefits and company vehicle. Requires outdoor, physically demanding work and ability to manage multiple tasks and train new staff.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license issued at least five years prior to application
- 5+ years lawn maintenance experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Proficiency with lawn maintenance equipment
- Excellent communication skills
- Coaching/leadership ability
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme temperatures
- Ability to meet daily route deadlines
- Experience with high-volume routes
