Job Summary
Lawn & Garden Technician responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining lawn, garden, and turf equipment including riding and zero-turn mowers, tractors, and handheld gear. Perform routine service, preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, and complete work orders with accurate documentation. Work in a shop environment alongside a team, using service manuals and diagnostic systems to ensure safe, high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction. Requires hands-on mechanical work, the ability to Work independently and as part of a team, strong safety focus, and ongoing technical learning.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience performing service repairs on lawn & garden equipment or similar machinery
- mechanical aptitude with knowledge of small engines and equipment systems
- ability to perform repairs and maintenance using tools and service procedures
- basic computer skills and ability to complete digital work orders
- ability to safely operate equipment used for diagnostics
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- ability to lift 75 lbs. repeatedly
- valid driver’s license
- high school diploma or equivalent experience
