Lawn Care Technician

Maintain existing lawns and pull weeds from flowerbeds and sidewalks. Prune trees, shrubs, and hedges while planting new flowers, bushes, and decorative shrubs. Rake fallen leaves, remove debris, and keep pedestrian areas clear of snow and ice. Properly store and handle equipment, tools, sprinklers, fertilizer, and other supplies. Oversee maintenance repairs to equipment, landscape structures, and hardscape walkways. Additional assistance moving furniture, setting up for events, or processing recyclables may be required. This role supports the University of Pikeville's collaborative team in keeping the campus safe, clean, and visually appealing year-round in various weather conditions.
