Job Summary
Mow, trim planting beds, trees, and shrubbery; apply fertilizers; perform seasonal planting; and complete daily job site cleanup. Diagnose insect, disease, and cultural turf conditions; maintain open communication with management and clients regarding property care needs; and drive, use, maintain, and operate landscape equipment. Requires a high school education, one year of landscaping experience, and a valid driver's license. Starting pay is $22-28 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School education
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to complete the Davey landscape career development books
- Ability to complete the Davey first aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
- Minimum one year experience in landscaping and/or grounds maintenance
- Experience as a crew member in landscape installations
- Love of the outdoors
- Up to 25% travel
Desired Qualifications
- Class B, CDL
- Bi-Lingual –Spanish
