Job Summary
Performs fertilization and pest management on shrubs and lawns using spray and injection tools. Properly applying weed control/herbicides/fertilizer and related treatments. Communicate and educate the client regarding diagnosis and prescribed pest control, aerification and fertilization services with customers. Continuously monitor lawn quality and fertilizing methods after application and communicate progress to customers and supervisors. Drive, use, maintain and operate equipment (truck and sprayer). Outdoor, on-site role with Davey Tree; requires valid driver’s license and relevant certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's license
- Background in Lawn/Turf Care & Landscaping
- Ability to complete the Davey Tree Qualified Lawn Care Tech training program upon hire
- Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
- Preferred: Relevant pesticide, CDL and related licenses and certificates
