Job Summary
Diagnose lawn diseases and infestations through soil analysis, then apply customized organic or hybrid treatments for weeds, insects, and diseases. Manage territory by selecting appropriate product blends, operating heavy equipment, and performing seeding and aeration services. Communicate comprehensive lawn health information to clients while maintaining independent work autonomy. Requires a Turf or Horticulture degree, 1-2 years of hands-on experience, and a valid Pesticide/Herbicide license. Valid driver's license and CDL a plus.
Required Qualifications
- A Degree in Turf, Entomology, Plant Sciences, Horticulture, or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years of hands on experience in lawn care maintenance and turf application
- The responsibility and independence to work autonomously
- Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills to understand and meet client needs
- The appropriate Pesticide/Herbicide Applicator's License(s), or the ability to obtain one
- The desire to work outdoors
- Valid driver's license
- Must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S.
