Job Summary
As a Lawn Care Specialist, you will perform soil analysis, diagnose turf conditions, and apply customized treatments to control insects, diseases, and weeds. Responsibilities include providing seeding and aeration services, using specialized equipment, and educating clients about lawn care. A successful candidate should have a degree in a related field, physical capability to handle equipment and lifting, and strong communication skills. Required Qualifications
- A degree in Turf, Entomology, Plant Sciences, Horticulture, or equivalent experience
- The ability to operate lawn care equipment and perform heavy lifting in all weather conditions
- A valid Pesticide/Herbicide Applicator’s License—or the ability to obtain one
- Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.
- A valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)
Desired Qualifications
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in lawn care maintenance and turf application
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills to communicate effectively with clients
