Job Summary
Manage lawn care routes from March through October, applying fertilizer, weed control, and pest treatments while maintaining service trucks and mixing solutions per label. Explain treatments to clients, record all services and product usage, and strictly follow safety protocols and PPE requirements. If performance and attendance standards are met, transition to the off-season holiday light crew in October, where you install, service, and remove lighting on multi-story rooflines with full ladder safety and inventory tracking. Work Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays during peak seasons, ensuring all work meets company standards and protects client properties.
Required Qualifications
- Illinois Department of Agriculture Commercial Operator license
- Comfort on a ladder and at height, including multi-story rooflines, for a full shift in cold and wet weather
- Valid Illinois driver's license and a clean driving record
- Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays or overtime during peak season
- Reliable attendance
