Job Summary
Lawn and Garden Salesperson responsible for selling residential and commercial turf products, compact construction equipment, and related hay goods within Boone Co. Manage and grow a customer base, identify new customers, demonstrate equipment, maintain product knowledge, follow the defined sales process, and coordinate with store and corporate managers to achieve annual sales goals. The role requires strong communication, ability to build relationships, adherence to policies, and the ability to handle financing options for customers. High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with 1+ years of equipment sales experience considered advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years equipment sales experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Proficient knowledge of data entry and keyboarding
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Knowledge of lawn and garden, turf, and outdoor power equipment preferred
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends
- Strong customer relationship skills
- Attention to detail and organization
