Job Summary
Conduct interior and exterior patrol rounds, monitor security consoles, and enforce smoke-free policies on LSO property. Prevent theft, vandalism, and trespass while managing visitor identification and parking enforcement. Complete incident reports, logs, and daily operating reports; document conditions, secure lost property, and control access cards. Provide safety escorts to emergency contractors and assist with aggressive visitors per SOPs. Report notifiable incidents immediately and adhere to all safety protocols regarding illicit substances and weapons.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of security experience
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Valid Standard First Aid & CPR Level C (WSIB-approved)
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (minimum 2 doses)
- Proficient in English (oral and written)
- Willing to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check
- Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)
- Legally Authorized to work in Canada
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
