Job Summary
Law School Admissions Consultant role: part-time, remote 1099 contract based in the United States or Canada. You will work with prospective law school candidates to build strategic application plans, strengthen profiles, refine personal statements and essays, and navigate the law school admissions journey. Serve as a trusted advisor to students and families, guiding law school selection, resumes, recommendations, essays, interviews, and overall admissions processes, while maintaining the student’s authentic voice. Requires JD from a T-14 U.S. program, prior Law School Admissions Committee experience, and strong coaching, editing, and communication skills to help applicants present their strongest applications to top law schools.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a T-14 U.S. JD program
- Experience serving on a Law School Admissions Committee
- Experience advising applicants to T-14 law schools
- Strong coaching, mentorship, and student-success mindset
- Strong planning, organizational, and project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong English reading, writing, and editing skills for law school essays
- Ability to work remote part-time as a contractual role
