Job Summary
Draft correspondence and legal documents, including estate planning, contracts, and leases. Assist with general deceased estate administration, conduct legal research, and attend client meetings to take accurate notes. Work independently and within a small team to support experienced practitioners across commercial, property, family law, and estates practice areas. Begin in Adelaide before transitioning to the Clare office for exposure to both metropolitan and regional environments.
Required Qualifications
- ideally be in your penultimate or final year of your law degree
- have a genuine interest in developing as a generalist lawyer in a regional practice
- be proactive and adaptable, with a willingness to take on a range of tasks
- have strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- have a professional approach and clear communication style
- demonstrate the ability to work both independently and as part of a small, close-knit team
- be either completing the final year of their law degree, completing GDLP/PLT, or have been recently admitted to practice
Desired Qualifications
- While previous experience in a legal environment would be beneficial
