Law Enforcement Liaison, Mississippi

Job Summary
Develop and advance strategic law enforcement relationships with state, federal, and local agencies in Mississippi, including the Mississippi Attorney General's Office. Coordinate educational programs for law enforcement, parents, and educators regarding platform safety, NCMEC CyberTip initiatives, and response policies. Proactively monitor regional law enforcement developments, analyze internal advisories, and empathetically respond to stakeholder concerns to build confidence in safety measures. Draft professional work product supported by platform safety investigations and collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Advocacy, Safety, and Product teams to implement strategic enhancements. This role requires on-call support during weekends and holidays, includes frequent travel, and may involve reviewing graphic or controversial content.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of work experience in law enforcement, intelligence, government, trust and safety, or an adjacent field
- Detailed knowledge of the law enforcement community and related policymakers in the State of Mississippi, and Southeastern region
- current trends and challenges in online safety and policy (particularly child safety and regional-specific considerations)
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
