Job Summary
Law Enforcement Crisis Liaison (Hybrid) coordinates in-person with multiple Phoenix-area police departments and Solari Crisis to divert calls from 911 into crisis services. Responsibilities include co-locating in 911 dispatch centers, providing in-the-moment training to 911 staff, developing and delivering training (including CIT) for law enforcement personnel, and serving as a crisis specialist on scheduled shifts. Requires ability to pass a police background check; duties span facilitating collaboration between crisis and law enforcement, training, outreach to community partners, documentation in electronic health records, and upholding trauma-informed, recovery-focused practices. Hybrid in-person role based in Tempe, AZ with on-site work at Mesa PD and other Phoenix-area departments; schedule includes specific 12:00-22:30 shifts on Mon/Wed at Mesa PD and Sun/Tue for Crisis Specialist roles; educational requirements include GED/High School and multiple degree pathways as noted, with preferred BH experience in law enforcement.
Required Qualifications
- GED/High School
- 1-2 years of experience in BH field with a background in Law Enforcement preferred
- Must be able to pass a Police Background Check
