Law Clerk (part-time)

Job Summary
This Law Clerk role supports the Brentwood, TN office on a part-time basis with a 20-30 hour/week schedule. Responsibilities include following a filing system and organizing records (letters, legal documents, case files, correspondence, invoices, memoranda), locating and retrieving requested files, preparing legal document indices, filing folders and labels, conducting legal research and completing writing assignments, requesting documents such as medical records for litigation, maintaining and updating files, handling mail, filing pleadings through court electronic filing systems, faxing, using a copy machine, maintaining a calendar, and managing office equipment. The role may involve other related duties. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook (Excel experience preferred), and strong organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills. The candidate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required. Ideal candidate would be currently in law school.
