Job Summary
Conduct legal research on immigration laws and regulations to support attorneys in preparing petitions and applications. Draft legal correspondence, compile supporting documents for family-based, employment-based, and humanitarian visa cases, and coordinate client interviews and hearings with USCIS. Maintain client files, monitor case deadlines, and assist in developing case strategies while communicating case updates to clients. Requires five years of experience as an Immigration Paralegal, strong knowledge of U.S. immigration laws, and bilingual Spanish skills.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Immigration Paralegal or in a related legal field
- Strong knowledge of U.S. immigration laws, procedures, and forms
- Proficiency in legal research and writing
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual skills (especially in Spanish) are a plus
