Job Summary

Conduct intensive document reviews to identify relevant materials and perform complex legal research to build cases. Assist attorneys by drafting legal documents such as motions, briefs, and memoranda of law, while reviewing documents for relevance and privilege. Support all phases of litigation, including interactions with domestic partners and foreign counterparts to enforce the law and advance public safety. Requires a law degree with two to three years of litigation support experience, proficiency in LEXIS and Westlaw, and familiarity with eDiscovery applications. Full-time role with up to 50% travel across the Continental US.

Required Qualifications

  • Law degree
  • At least two to three years of progressively more responsible experience on litigation support projects
  • Proven capabilities and communication skills to interact with clients and attorneys
  • Sound working knowledge of federal and state court systems
  • Knowledge of legal research procedures
  • Knowledge of legal research resources
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Thorough knowledge of legal research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw
  • Hands-on familiarity with a variety of computer applications, including word processing
  • Hands-on familiarity with databases (such as document review and file management systems)
  • Hands-on familiarity with spreadsheets
  • Hands-on familiarity with imaging
  • Hands-on familiarity with eDiscovery applications
  • Knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources
  • DOJ MBI must be obtainable
  • U.S. citizenship
