Job Summary
Law Clerk role at Allstate Canada Group supporting a team of three lawyers with document creation/organization, maintaining electronic files, handling confidential information, and coordinating day-to-day schedules and correspondence. Requires 3+ years in a legal assistant or law clerk capacity, strong understanding of legal terminology, analytical and multitasking abilities, and proficiency with Outlook, Teams, and Co-Pilot. Responsibilities include creating, organizing, and managing documents; regular communication with in-house lawyers and clients on litigation files; maintaining records; handling confidential information with discretion; and managing meeting schedules and file organization. Bonus: bilingual an asset; experience in Insurance Litigation; insurance-law related skills. Benefits include flexible work arrangements and various employee programs. Compensation range stated: 53,940.00 - 83,095.50 annually. This job posting is remote in NB or NS, Canada.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a legal assistant or law clerk
- An in-depth understanding of legal terminology, technicalities, and pressure coupled with excellent analytical, organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Outlook, Team and Co-Pilot
