Job Summary
Prepare briefing notes for the Attorney General and other ministers while conducting research and analysis on proposed Bills or policy reform. Liaise with stakeholders, write speeches, attend meetings, and draft correspondence to assist in formulating government policy and delivering legislative reform projects. This summer clerkship involves hands-on work on civil and criminal law policy, including diversion, sentencing, and courts access initiatives. Candidates must be currently studying law and possess strong legal research and writing skills.
