Job Summary
Thoroughly service lavatory and water systems on assigned aircraft to company specifications, ensuring all equipment operates correctly and safety protocols are followed. Actively participate in the Safety Management System by reporting hazards, near misses, and incidents to supervisors, while maintaining cleanliness of work areas and requesting supply re-orders. Complete comprehensive LAV/Water training programs and adhere to FAA, TSA, and airline regulations. Maintain courteous communication with airlines, staff, and the public while ensuring secure operations in accordance with health, safety, and government statutory requirements. Perform other duties as assigned, including driving tractor trailers or box trucks if required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a home telephone
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have minimum of HS diploma or GED/Equivalent
- Must be able to sit, stand, lift, and/or bend throughout shift and climb stairs
- Must be able to lift, carry, and/or hold up to 70 lbs
- Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English
- Must be able to verbally direct in English
- Must possess the necessary authorization to work in the U.S. from the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS)
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug test
- Must pass a Criminal Background Check
- 30-40% outside work
- May be required to work weekends, overnight shifts and holidays
- Must be fully versed in International Aviation Safety and Security standards
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Must be able to identify abnormal operations
- Must be able to properly service each system
- Must be able to follow safe work practices
- Must be aware of company policies and procedures related to job safety
- Must be able to notify superiors upon becoming aware of unsafe working conditions

- Previous driving experience of tractor trailers, box trucks, buses, etc.
- Must have a commercial license
