Job Summary
The Lavatory & Water Agent is responsible for maintaining and servicing aircraft lavatories and water systems, including cleaning, refilling, and ensuring proper functionality while adhering to health and safety standards. This role requires the use of personal protective equipment and entails executing daily quality control checks on equipment. Candidates must communicate effectively in English and possess a valid state-issued driver’s license. Additionally, the role demands the ability to lift up to 70 pounds and exposure to various working conditions, including noise and outdoor elements. Regular attendance and compliance with company customer service and safety standards are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Must have a valid state-issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Ability to coach, train, supervise and motivate a team of lavatory & water agents
- Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices
- Pass a background check and drug screen
- Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
Additional Requirements
- Airlines are 24/7, so flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays is required
