Job Summary
Conduct MIG/TIG and robot welding on steel, stainless, and aluminum, including freehand aluminum work and reading blueprints. Maintain a clean shop environment while using proper PPE and following safety procedures. Operate a large belt sander and read tape measures for precision. Work the second shift from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm with overtime as needed. Lift 50 lbs and position weld apparatus in various orientations while standing for prolonged periods.
Required Qualifications
- 2nd shift 2:30 pm- 11:00 pm
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
- Knowledge and understanding of weld symbols
- Welding (MIG/TIG)- Robot Welding
- Freehand-weld aluminum
- Steel, Stainless, and Aluminum
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to read blueprints
- How to use a large belt sander
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to position the weld apparatus in any position the work requires
- Position requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Position may require bending, kneeling, and stooping
- Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, and chemicals
- Physical weld testing on-site must be acceptable
- 1+ years of welding experience
- Demonstrated punctual and dependable performance
