Laundry Technician - Part Time Days

Laundry Technician role performing day-to-day housekeeping tasks in a healthcare setting. Responsibilities include sorting, washing, drying, folding linens; labeling; handling and distribution of clean and contaminated linens; following infection prevention guidelines and healthcare laundry standards; operating laundry equipment; collecting dirty linens from wards and rooms; storing supplies; and using PPE. Physical tasks involve lifting and moving up to 30-50lbs and pushing/pulling up to 500lbs, standing for most of the shift, and potential overtime, nights, weekends, or holidays based on location. Requires high school diploma or equivalent (preferred), ability to use a computer, and may require a valid driver’s license with a good driving record depending on location.
