Job Summary
Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and uniforms while inspecting items for damage or excessive wear. Maintain cleanliness and safe operation of laundry equipment, including proper chemical handling, and keep areas organized and stocked. Track laundry quantities, receive and stock incoming inventory, and issue supplies to departments according to schedules. Operate basic warehouse equipment like carts and pallet jacks as required. Perform physical tasks including lifting heavy bags (500 to 600 per shift) and maintaining accurate inventory counts. Work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to heat, humidity, and cleaning chemicals.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and manual labor
- Basic math and counting skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to read, write and comprehend the English Language
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in laundry, warehouse, or inventory roles
- Familiarity with basic inventory systems or handheld scanners
- Forklift or pallet jack experience
