Job Summary
Coordinate daily laundry operations, assign tasks, and meet production targets while overseeing industrial equipment including washers, extractors, dryers, and flatwork ironers. Perform stain removal and apply chemical treatments, then inspect finished items to ensure premium cleanliness. Train attendants in sorting, fabric care, and stain identification while managing linen logistics for trolley preparation and stock control. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laundry area. Requires hands-on experience in commercial or hotel laundries, advanced knowledge of stain removal, and ability to manage diverse teams in a fast-paced environment. Flexible to work varying shifts across a 7-day rotating roster.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Team Leader, Supervisor or Senior Washman in a commercial or hotel laundry
- Hands‐on experience operating industrial washers, extractors, dryers and flatwork ironers
- Advanced knowledge of stain identification and chemical stain‐removal techniques
- Demonstrated ability to train, motivate and manage a diverse team
- Strong commitment to safety, hygiene and quality control
- Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks in a fast‐paced environment
- Flexibility to work varying shifts across a 7‐day rotating roster
