Laundry Supervisor

Laundry Supervisor responsible for inspecting guest rooms, public areas, and laundry output after housekeeping, running room status reports, identifying discrepant rooms, prioritizing cleaning, and communicating changes in room assignments. Acts as a liaison coordinating efforts between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry; documents and resolves discrepant-room issues with the Front Desk; assists in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees; enforces safety and security policies; ensures professional appearance and confidentiality of information; provides guest service, develops positive working relationships, and maintains adherence to quality standards. Requires ability to lift up to 55 pounds, push/pull a housekeeping cart, and operate computers/point of sale systems; will stand or move for extended periods and perform other duties as requested by Supervisors.
