Job Summary
Coordinate laundry operations by sorting soiled linens, washing with chemical solutions, drying garments, and pressing clothes. Perform general housekeeping duties including cleaning work spaces, entrances, utility areas, and resident rooms. Maintain equipment by cleaning washers, dryers, and lint filters every two hours while managing inventory of cleaning products. Ensure environmental cleanliness and sanitation compliance for resident safety. Report unmarked clothing to social services and distribute laundry to appropriate residents. Follow supervisor assignments for emergency housekeeping and interdepartmental service requests.
Required Qualifications
- One year's work experience in a commercial establishment with knowledge of laundry/housekeeping procedures
Desired Qualifications
- Highschool diploma or equivalency preferred
