Job Summary
Laundry Attendant needed to support hotel housekeeping by cleaning and maintaining linens, operating washers and dryers, folding and sorting linens, stocking linen closets and assisting room attendants. Responsibilities include loading/unloading commercial washers/dryers, sorting and folding towels and linens, keeping laundry and folding areas neat, and performing other duties as assigned. Requires ability to lift and move heavy loads, flexibility to work weekends/holidays, and professional appearance. Required Qualifications
- Must be 16 years or older.
- Must be flexible (weekends and holidays).
- Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
- Attention to detail and ability meet high standards of room cleanliness.
- Must be able to walk, climb stairs, stand, bend, crouch, kneel, reach overhead, twist, lift, push, pull and carry.
- Must be able to push and pull a fully loaded wheeled cart in excess of 100 lbs.
