Job Summary
Launderer/Housekeeper at Brio Living Services' Chelsea Retirement Community (part-time, 29 hours/week; 7am–3:30pm, Monday–Friday with every-other weekend rotation). Responsible for supporting daily laundry operations by sorting, washing, drying, folding, and organizing resident clothing and linens; operating washers, dryers, steamers, and other laundry equipment; inspecting items for quality; following infection control procedures; and assisting with general housekeeping duties (cleaning resident rooms, common areas, replenishing supplies). Provides friendly service to residents, guests, and team members; maintains a clean, organized laundry area and supports overall cleanliness and comfort of residents. Requires ability to lift up to 35 pounds and must be at least 18 years old. Prior experience as a housekeeper or cleaner in a long-term care or medical setting is preferred.
