Job Summary
Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery, identifying stained or damaged items for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard. Inspect cleanliness of articles from machines, place them in clean linen carts, and set dryers to designated times and temperatures based on fabric types. Remove lint and debris from dryer screens, filters, and drain traps after each load, then fold cleaned articles into designated sizes by hand or using folding machines. Maintain accurate records of items laundered. Prior laundry or housekeeping experience is preferred, with a requirement for strong attention to detail and the physical ability to operate equipment and lift supplies. Flexible shifts including weekends and holidays are required. Competitive wages of $18-$20/hr are offered alongside medical, dental, and vision insurance.
