Job Summary
Process all bed linens, terry, and table linens by operating laundry and dry cleaning machinery according to hotel standards. Clean, press, and finish staff and guest garments, as well as designated guest room fabrics and articles. Sort, pretreat, wash, dry, iron, and fold linens while inspecting for tears or stains. Mends and sews linens, fills banquet and restaurant requisitions, and delivers guest service supplies to rooms. Uses correct chemicals per OSHA regulations and wears required personal protection equipment. Cooperates with managers and supervisors to complete requests promptly. Available for flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding
- Knowledge of laundry/dry cleaning equipment and chemical handling
- Knowledge of finishing techniques for all types of fabrics
- Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts, as required to meet the needs of the Company's business operations
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
