Job Summary
Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently to sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, towels, uniforms, and other hotel laundry items. Maintain proper inventory levels of clean linens for housekeeping and guest needs while inspecting items for stains, damage, or wear to report replacement requirements. Keep the laundry room clean, organized, and free of hazards by following all safety, sanitation, and chemical handling procedures. Assist housekeeping with linen distribution and collection as needed, responding promptly to guest and team member requests. Report maintenance concerns or equipment malfunctions immediately and properly use personal protective equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Reliable attendance
- Positive teamwork attitude
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to push/pull laundry carts throughout the hotel
- Ability to stand for long periods during scheduled shifts
