Job Summary
The Laundry Attendant at Zion Lodge (Seasonal) is responsible for the cleanliness and care of linens, towels, and other laundered items. Duties include operating washers, dryers, and folding machines; sorting and loading soiled linens; monitoring supplies; inspecting items for cleanliness; folding and distributing cleaned linens to departments; maintaining a clean and safe laundry area; and assisting with inventory and housekeeping/food & beverage deliveries as needed. The role emphasizes adherence to health and safety regulations, ESQ procedures, and a safety-first mindset; on-site housing is provided and the schedule may include weekends and holidays. The position supports the Zion Lodge operation within the POWDR portfolio and offers benefits and career development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Able to work in Zion National Park
- Follow Executive and Lead Chef kitchen requirements and concessions contract compliance
- Ability to get along with people, be honest, punctual and reliable
- Ability to remain calm and friendly
- Ability to adapt to changing work conditions
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Previous experience in a commercial laundry facility or similar role is preferred but not required
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks (up to 50 lbs)
- Knowledge of proper laundry care techniques and safety protocols is a plus
- Team members must maintain neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance as per Employee Handbook
