Job Summary
Laundry Attendant at Stonebridge/Hyatt Place DTC responsible for processing soiled linens and distributing clean linens for hotel operations. Operates industrial laundry equipment (washers, dryers, ironers), receives/sorts soiled linen, inspects finished products for quality, stacks and stores linens, and maintains a clean, safe work area. Requires ability to lift up to 75 lbs, stand and bend for extended periods, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Emphasizes professional, courteous service, adherence to safety standards, and communication with supervisors about equipment malfunctions or supply needs. This role includes typical hotel laundry tasks and potential on-site adjustments as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in laundry operations is preferred but not required.
- Ability to operate industrial laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironers.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure quality standards.
- Ability to follow simple instructions and safety guidelines.
- Good communication skills to interact with team members.
