Job Summary
Sort, wash, dry, fold, iron, and store linens, towels, and other hotel laundry while following stain treatment procedures. Maintain appropriate chemical levels, ensure daily equipment cleaning, and report malfunctions immediately. Keep laundry and storage areas clean per OSHA guidelines and assist housekeepers by collecting soiled linens and restocking closets. Greet guests courteously in public areas and support special projects like room linen changes or inventory. Requires familiarity with commercial laundry procedures, ability to lift 50 pounds, and a strong work ethic in a warm environment. Consistent attendance and adherence to cleanliness standards are critical.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks in a warm environment
- Consistent attendance and adherence to Resolute Road Hospitality's standards
- E-Verify employment authorization
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous laundry or housekeeping experience in a hospitality setting is a plus
- Familiarity with commercial laundry procedures, safety practices, and chemical handling
- Ability to safely operate laundry equipment (washers, dryers, irons)
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and consistency
- Strong work ethic and ability to perform tasks independently
- Team-oriented mindset and willingness to support multiple departments when needed
