Job Summary
Process all bed linens, terry, and table linens by operating laundry/dry cleaning machinery in accordance with the hotel's standards. Clean, press and finish staff and guest garments, as well as designated guest room fabrics and articles. Maintain standards of quality and cleanliness, observe safety rules and PPE usage, sort/pre-treat/wash/dry/iron/fold linens, inspect for tears/stains, mend as needed, restock closets/carts, and deliver guest service supplies. Coordinate with Managers/Supervisors to fulfill requests promptly; comply with OSHA regulations and hotel policies on chemicals and protective equipment. Proactively support banquet and restaurant linen requisitions and contract-cleaned linens; bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
- Knowledge of laundry/dry cleaning equipment and chemical handling
- Knowledge of finishing techniques for all types of fabrics.
