Laundry Attendant

Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery; identify stained or damaged items and determine status for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard. Inspect cleanliness of articles removed from machines and place in clean linen carts; set dryers to designated times and temperatures based on fabrics; remove lint/debris; fold cleaned articles into designated sizes by hand or folding machine; maintain accurate records of items laundered. Adhere to safety and security policies; report accidents and unsafe conditions; maintain professional appearance and confidentiality; support team goals; pursue quality, efficiency, and cost-savings improvements. Stand/walk for extended periods; lift up to 25 pounds; navigate confined spaces and stairs; perform other duties as assigned. Education: No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
