Job Summary
Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery; identify stained or damaged items and determine status for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard; inspect cleanliness of articles removed from washers/dryers/dry-cleaning machines and place in clean linen carts; set dryers to designated times and temperatures based on fabrics; fold cleaned articles into designated sizes by hand or folding machine; maintain accurate records of items laundered; follow safety and security policies, report hazards, and complete safety training; maintain professional appearance and confidentiality; support team goals, listen and respond to colleagues, and seek ways to improve efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost-savings.
Required Qualifications
- No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
