Job Summary
Sort, load, unload, fold, and press linens and other items while operating washing, drying, and pressing equipment according to safety standards. Inspect towels for stains or tears, log deficiencies to the Executive Housekeeper, and remove dirty linen from vacant rooms. Clean lint filters daily, stock linen closets, and vacuum, sweep, and mop hallways, lobby, and back-of-house areas when requested. Maintain a presentable and sanitary condition for all linens. Capable of exerting up to 60 pounds of force occasionally and standing for an entire shift.
Required Qualifications
- A plus: Practiced, with six months' related experience in hospitality or a service industry
- A must: Eager to be part of a great work culture and team
- Capable of exerting up to 60 pounds of force occasionally
- Capable of standing for an entire shift or for an extended amount of time
- Capable of reaching overhead, utilizing both hands, leaning over, stooping and kneeling
- Excellent communicator
- Naturally curious and value listening to solve problems
- Comfortable following directions, guidelines and work objectives
- A team player with a heart for hospitality
