Job Summary
Sort dirty laundry by fabric type and color, select appropriate wash cycles with detergents and softeners, and pre-treat stained items before washing. Fold, stack, and organize linens and towels while inspecting them for damage to remove items from circulation. Clean laundry equipment, lint traps, and work areas, then stock clean linens for porters and maintain pool towel inventory. Use two-way radios to coordinate with team members and respond to requests. Must be 21 years or older with the ability to lift 50 lbs and work long periods standing or bending.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years old or older
- Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for long periods
- Capability to perform physical tasks such as carrying supplies and moving furniture
- Ability to use two-way radios effectively
Desired Qualifications
- Laundry or housekeeping experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Positive attitude with a commitment to excellent guest service
