Job Summary
Retrieve soiled linens, sort and treat them, then load washers with specified agents to dry items. Sort, fold, or hang clean dried items according to quality standards, separating by color, weight, and fabric type as directed. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, communicate needs to supervisors, and uphold equipment standards by reporting maintenance issues to the facilities manager. Represent the hotel with professionalism to guests, clients, and the community while adhering to all policies, safety procedures, and emergency protocols. This role requires lifting up to 40 pounds frequently, standing for extended periods, and bending or twisting. One year of experience is preferred, with U.S. work authorization required.
Required Qualifications
- Work authorization in the United States
- Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds frequently to assist guests
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to hear, understand and communicate orally and in writing to communicate with staff, vendors and guests a normal in-person and phone conversation
- Ability to bend and twist, push and pull, stoop, and kneel
- Ascend and descend a ladder
