Job Summary
Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens, towels, bedding, uniforms, and other laundry items; operate commercial washers, dryers, ironers, and folding equipment safely and efficiently; inspect linens and uniforms for stains or damage and remove unsuitable items; apply stain treatment methods; maintain inventory of clean linens and communicate shortages; deliver clean linens to storage areas and housekeeping closets; keep laundry areas clean and safe; monitor equipment malfunctions and report maintenance needs; follow chemical handling procedures and OSHA regulations; assist housekeeping with linen distribution and peak occupancy support; promote a positive, professional work environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous laundry, housekeeping, hotel, or commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Basic knowledge of commercial laundry equipment preferred
