Job Summary
Attend to the cleaning process of hotel linens and operate washing and drying equipment. Load and unload laundry, measure and administer cleaning agents according to product specifications, monitor washer feeders, ensure drums are full, and report irregularities to a supervisor. Set proper drying times for different linen types, clean machines and surrounding areas, and comply with attendance rules for regular work. Requires ability to lift up to 75 lbs and push/pull carts up to 100 lbs; ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and guests. Demonstrates knowledge of laundry chemicals and formulas, prioritization and organization of work, and adaptability to different audiences. Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift, bend, stoop, push or pull heavy loads
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Experience with laundry chemicals and formulas preferred
