Job Summary
Process bed, terry, and table linens by operating laundry and dry cleaning machinery per hotel standards. Clean, press, and finish staff and guest garments, plus designated room fabrics and articles. Inspect linens for damage, reject or reclaim as needed, and mend or sew repairs. Sort, pretreat, wash, dry, iron, and fold linens while using correct chemicals and personal protection equipment per OSHA and hotel policies. Fill banquet and restaurant requisitions, deliver guest service supplies, restock closets and carts, and provide towel service to recreation areas. Cooperate with managers and supervisors to complete requests promptly. Available for flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding
- Knowledge of laundry/dry cleaning equipment and chemical handling
- Knowledge of finishing techniques for all types of fabrics
- Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts, as required to meet the needs of the Company's business operations
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
