Job Summary
Responsible for processing and finishing all hotel linens and guestroom textiles, operating laundry/dry cleaning machinery in accordance with the hotel’s standards, and performing related duties such as washing, drying, ironing, and folding. Inspect linens for tears or stains, mend as needed, restock linen supplies, and deliver towels and guest service items to guest rooms. Maintain safety and OSHA-compliant procedures when handling chemicals and using cleaning equipment; follow house rules and cooperate with management and staff. Requires flexibility in schedule including weekends and holidays; bilingual communication is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
- Knowledge of laundry/dry cleaning equipment and chemical handling
- Knowledge of finishing techniques for all types of fabrics
