Job Summary
Wash, dry, iron, and fold all soiled linens, towels, napkins, and tablecloths while sorting them by type, color, and size. Pre-treat stains before washing, load and unload machines according to standards, and clean dryer filters daily. Sweep and mop floors, store linens off the ground, and keep carts clean and debris-free. Operate ironing equipment safely, ensuring it is shut off at the end of the day. Maintain a clean work area and ensure overall guest satisfaction. This role requires flexible hours, physical exertion up to 50 pounds, and the ability to stand for the entire shift.
Required Qualifications
- Flexible and long hours sometimes required
- Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
- Ability to stand during entire shift
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Resort Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and nametag
- Comply with Resort Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations
