Job Summary
Collect and transport dirty linens, wash, dry, iron, fold, and deliver clean towels and bed linens throughout the hotel. Operate washing machines, dryers, and irons per standard, cleaning dryer filters daily and maintaining all equipment. Sort, weigh, and stock linen carts and closets as required, sweeping and mopping floors to keep the area safe and debris-free. Practice safe work habits when pushing carts weighing up to 400 lbs and pull linens weighing up to 150 lbs. Follow Aimbridge Hospitality policies and perform other assigned tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations.
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
- Must be able to constantly push/pull laundry carts (empty and full) with potential weight between 50-400lbs (may vary by property).
- Must be able to occasionally pull linens from washer to dryer with potential weight between 25-150lbs (may vary by property).
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
