Job Summary
Collect and sort dirty linens, towels, and rags from carts, then wash, dry, iron, fold, and stock them throughout the hotel. Operate washing machines, dryers, and irons per standard, cleaning dryer filters daily and ensuring equipment is maintained. Sweep and mop floors, keeping carts clean and free of debris while practicing safe work habits. Stock linen closets as required and perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor. Maintain composure in high-pressure situations and adhere to all Aimbridge Hospitality policies and house rules.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
- Must be able to constantly push/pull laundry carts (empty and full) with potential weight between 50-400lbs (may vary by property)
- Must be able to occasionally pull linens from washer to dryer with potential weight between 25-150lbs (may vary by property)
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
