Job Summary
Collect and transport dirty linens, wash, dry, iron, and fold all bed linens, towels, and tablecloths as directed by management. Operate washing machines, dryers, and irons per standard, cleaning dryer filters daily and maintaining all equipment. Sort, weigh, and stock linen carts and closets throughout the hotel while sweeping and mopping floors to keep the area clean. Always practice safe work habits when pushing or pulling carts with weights up to 400 lbs. Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager while adhering to Aimbridge Hospitality policies.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations.
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
- Must be able to constantly push/pull laundry carts (empty and full) with potential weight between 50-400lbs (may vary by property).
- Must be able to occasionally pull linens from washer to dryer with potential weight between 25-150lbs (may vary by property).
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
